I am a Business Improvement Manager and Corporate responsibility co-ordinator for Siemens Standard Drives in Congleton. The KISS group provides me with contacts and opportunities to engage with local businesses and organisations and support our strategy to maximise the positive impact of Siemens on our local community.
The KISS links with the Congleton Borough Lifelong Learning Partnership provide opportunities for us to support our Generation 21 program aimed at developing our future talent through work with schools, colleges and universities and raising the profile of science and engineering among young people, through for example the careers fairs.
I hope that KISS will give me the opportunity to share the knowledge and experience within Siemens and learn from each other for the benefit of the local businesses and community.
