Description

The Life Long Learning post is hosted by Congleton Borough Council, and is funded by the Learning and Skills Council. The aim of the post is to co-ordinate learning throughout the borough via the Lifelong Learning Partnership. The Lifelong Learning Partnership is an active network of representatives from schools, colleges, community and voluntary groups, businesses, statutory organisations and independent learning providers working together to develop Lifelong Learning in Congleton Borough. By "Lifelong Learning" we mean all kinds of learning - formal and informal - for people of all ages to access throughout their lives.

I have a voluntary and community sector background and was employed as a Community Resource Centre Manager for three years. I also have experience as a Community Development worker and worked in the health and social care sector.

The Kissing group allows lifelong learning partnership

  • To engage with local businesses
  • To help develop work based learning
  • Enable businesses to recruit local people with the appropriate skills
