John moved to Congleton in 1966. He was a partner in a local law firm from 1979 until 2001 and is now a Consultant to Myers & Co. John specialises in Employment Law, along with his colleague Adam Quirke.
Although Myers & Co is based in Burslem Stoke on Trent, through John it has developed a significant client base in South East Cheshire in general and Congleton in particular. John also has access to office facilities in Congleton and Sandbach and conducts business with most of his Cheshire clients at either those offices or at the clients’ own business premises.
The firm also deals with Commercial Law; Litigation; Debt Recovery; Domestic and Commercial Conveyancing; and Wills, Trusts and Probate.
John views his involvement with the KISS Group as a way of putting something back into the local business community, both in terms of interacting with other members and in supporting KISS initiatives such as Careers Fairs and Seminars.
