The Congleton KISS Group - Knowledge, Information Sharing and Support aims to enable local businesses to share skills, knowledge and information about learning opportunities in order to improve performance, develop local businesses and raise skills in the community.
Finbarr Dowling, the Managing Director of Siemens, Congleton recently wrote “Siemens in Congleton has worked closely with the KISS Group which is a non for profit organisation that aims to improve the social and economic way of life in Congleton.
The group is diverse and key people from the voluntary, business, public and education sectors not only share knowledge and information to support their economic growth; it also acts as a local forum where the issues that affect the community can be shared and solutions sought.”
Share knowledge and information to support local businesses to grow and develop.
Create and support local initiatives to help improve the community and the local economy.
Challenge current thinking and help to improve ‘everyone’s lot’.
Inclusive - every one is welcome and valued, there is no cost.
Easy to deal with - we are not bound by bureaucracy; we are fun to be with.
Genuine - we do what we say, we don’t overcomplicate.
Supportive – of each other, the group’s projects and the community.
Tolerant – of differences which allow us to explore ideas and concepts.
Courage – to challenge, speak up, be honest, share thoughts.
